Thank You for Making This Our Biggest Giving Tuesday Ever
Thanks to your generosity, this Giving Tuesday was our biggest yet—and we are very grateful for your support. Your contributions ensure that FACT can continue to empower farmers, improve the lives of farm animals, and strengthen humane, sustainable food systems across the country.
Because of our Board Members’ generous match, every gift made on December 2nd went twice as far, increasing the impact of your support for farmers and their animals. We’re grateful for your ongoing commitment to building a healthier, more humane future for all.
Your support is helping farmers like Carly Stephenson of Will o the Winds Farm in Wisconsin, who received a Fund-a-Farmer grant from FACT this year to build portable fencing and shelters for her hogs.
Despite facing a traumatic spring—including the loss of two sows—Carly pushed forward and:
Built 14 new paddocks to rotate their pigs
Installed portable electric fencing so hogs could be moved every few days
Kept animals on fresh, healthy ground throughout the season
Transitioned their new shelters to protect 200 broiler chickens, helping them weather a wet spring
Improved soil health, increased production, and saved money they’ll carry into next year

$250,000 in farmer grants in 2025, including two new $10,000 systems-changing awards that help farms adopt forward-thinking, humane innovations.
A national network of humane, pasture-based farmers. Built in partnership with the ASPCA, this new initiative creates collaboration, and community among farmers committed to humane practices.
Critical work addressing the urgent public-health threat of bird flu. Your support helps FACT continue advocating for stronger protections for animals, farmers, and communities
