Katie Meade

Humane Farming Mentorship Program Coordinator

Katie brings the hands-on experience of farming and raising livestock on pasture across the scenic Applegate Valley of Oregon and the high desert of New Mexico. While not currently farming full-time, she remains committed to supporting farmers nationwide in reaching their goals and improving the lives of the animals in their care. Outside of work, Katie enjoys reading, gardening, and tending her small flock of ducks and chickens in her orchard.

Katie approaches both farming and mentorship with curiosity and compassion, combining hands-on animal care experience with the awareness to nurture meaningful personal and professional relationships.

Katie is the best person to contact if you have questions about:

  • FACT’s Mentorship Program

  • FACT’s Humane Farming Program in general
