Darlene Oliver joined FACT's Board of Directors in 2017, inspired by her unwavering conviction that pasture-raised animal agriculture is critical to the future of the planet, human communities, and animal welfare. She served as Secretary and on the Executive Committee, helping lead the search for FACT's Executive Director, and was later elected Board Chair.

Darlene spent over a decade as Senior Manager of Continuing Medical Education & Grants Compliance for The American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, ensuring programming and grants met ACCME standards. She also served ten years as an ACCME Surveyor auditing physician education providers, and was President of the Southern California Medical Education Council, where she secured its 501(c)(3) status. Earlier, she led membership programs for the American Horticultural Society and the Video Software Dealers Association, and consulted for Greenpeace.

She holds a B.A. in Economics, magna cum laude, from the University of Maryland, and outside of FACT enjoys tutoring unhoused children, playing bridge, and training at the gym.
