September 16, 2025 @1pm ET

Whether you’re considering becoming a sheep or goat farmer, have recently started, or have been raising them for many years, you’ll need to have a method for handling them. Sheep need to be sheared, both sheep and goats need health checks, hoof trims, deworming, ear tagging, weighing, trailer loading, and other herd interactions. We’ll use my farm as a case study to explore different handling systems I’ve used over the years. We’ll also discuss best practices you can implement on your farm to keep health checks safe and low-stress for livestock and farmers alike!
