2021 Annual Impact Report

Even as the COVID-19 pandemic continued to disrupt day-to-day life, we at FACT adjusted to these challenges and had a successful and impactful 2021. We are pleased to share with you our 2021 Annual Impact Report, which you are invited to peruse at your leisure.

Our  highlights in 2021 include:

  • FACT's new financial training program for livestock and poultry producers to help their farm businesses thrive.

  • Seeing the impact our COVID-19 emergency mini-grants and Fund-a-Farmer grants are having on independent, humane farmers across the US.

  • Under pressure from FACT and allies, the FDA finalized guidance that will lead to all medically important antibiotics used in animals requiring a prescription by June 2023.

  • We filed lawsuits against Wendy’s and Cargill to stop these food companies from misleading consumers.

This work is helping us achieve our Vision that all food producing animals will be raised in a humane and healthy manner, and everyone will have access to safe and humanely-produced food.
